Happy 1st Anniversary!

Thank You!

It’s been one year since I started sharing my experience about User-centered Design on this blog. I want to take this oportunity and thank you all for reading my thoughts and insights – you give meaning to my work!

More important, I want to hear from you

  • what you liked,
  • what you didn’t like and
  • especially what you would like to hear more about.

What’s coming next?

Here is a sampling of what I’m currently working on or what I have planned to write about next:

  • Effective Web Design Critique
  • Code samples: jQuery, .NET, CSS
  • How Can I Evaluate the Quality of My Website?
  • More ‘Design Guidelines’
  • More ‘Best Practices’ (including spreadsheets)
  • Some funny ‘Lessons learned’
  • …whatever else I learn every day

YESSS! Happy 1st Anniversary!! The lessons learned from Vegas was definitely my favorite post :) followed by the typical user captured in a photo and the frankenstein design… I really enjoy reading your blog, always learn something new here :) I personally would like to know what you thnk about the UI of ‘famous’ webpages that exist out there pointing out the good, the bad and the ugly, I think that would be an interesting post! Congrautalions again and wish you many more years to come!! :-D

@Jessica: Thanks a lot for your kind words! Interesting thought you have about assessing UI’s of popular pages, especially because in many cases they influence our style of designing/programming – but should they? muaaaa

@Gerhard: I will post them to Facebook again, sorry about neglecting this channel. Happy to hear you like the mix of funny and educating – thanks!
